The other day on my personal profile I mentioned something about praying for Gods will and if He wanted me anywhere else I'd be there.
Maybe it's God's that people would try praying for specific things to change or improve, for better circumstances, for some financial advantage and stability. Perhaps this could carry some more weight with God if He hears and sees us being committed to something more substantial ... more tangible.
its not easy for most Christians to look passed their own ideas and agenda's of what God's will should be for a person. Which can and does confuse the spirit. This is why asking for God's will has become an easy (or lazy) way to pray for another ...
Well I personally have discerned this as being a huge part of the problem. We have lost touch with what actually falls in with God's moral acceptance as something to pray for, and more people simply go after what they want for themselves without ever considering how God views it ...
In fact it seems like 90% of American "Christians" pray to God merely to justify the way they live a lie. Which in turn also causes major oppressive issues against other souls when those people pray for individuals who are in dire need ...
We have ourselves to blame for how this country has fallen into economic tyranny and warmongering greed. Our own selfishness proves that. Well its the same when praying for others who need a great miracle. Not only due to the lack of action on our parts, but also because how we pray leaves something to be desired ...
