Hebrews 10:1 "For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect."
Animal sacrifice and certain yearly rituals were done away with because doing so was becoming rather pointless over the constant repetition of sinning and sacrificing ...
So in turn Jesus was made our one time sacrifice or the sake of all our sins and we only need genuinely seek forgiveness from the heart. After being baptized and holy ghost filled, there becomes a regulatory relationship between man and God that must be maintained on a consistent basis ...
Yet (especially in our times) more and more people are living as they once had in the Old Testament. A tedious repetitiveness of sinning day after day with only one or two days a week for getting (not a spiritual) but an emotional high and walking out deceptively renewed ...
Some do spend time with God each day only to continue in their selfish ways in between. Many others spend no time with God and get absolutely no spiritual or emotional rush during the one hour weekly service ...
People no longer observe the Sabbath, demonic holidays are celebrated every Winter and Spring. And none of God's Biblical Holy Days are kept ...
There are times I wonder ... what if "Jeremiah 10" was a ten Commandment? Then it occurs to me that the 2nd Commandment is already rejected by most all Christians and churches around the world. Worse so during the last hundred years. So it would seem fitting to also ignore Jeremiah 10 ... also worse so during the last 200 years in this country alone ...
There are many portions of the Bible that specify what is holiness and unholiness. Over 90% of the worlds churches reject all of them. Thereby seeking forgiveness for what? They don't even know that they continue in sin against God's word ...
Those who choose not to live by the law, will still die by it ...
