"But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain."
Galatians 4:9-11
I speak of people who choose not to accept or believe it. As do most all churches.
Take "Jeremiah 10" for instance. What exactly do you think that is talking about? And just what exactly has 95% of the Christian community been doing EVERY Winter for the last 100 years ... or even these so named "Fall Festivals" that are most times celebrated exactly like Halloween?
Or what about "be not conformed to this world" yet even after being baptized and having the Holy Ghost many people suddenly become more worldly than they ever were before ...
Or what about the Scriptures regarding women's roles in the church and home? Yet what has been happening? Who has been running many of the worldly programs and leading the ministries? Who has been talking in the pews during sermons and altar calls? There is witchcraft afoot, and you're all blind to it!
What about "tithing" that is meant to be done more privately, not paraded around being waved in the air ... and to be used for the purpose of helping the poor and maybe putting supplies into storage? But look at all the money that's spilled into entertainment and building costs and sound systems ... seen the inside of your churches sound booth lately?
Or even Vacation Bible School. When that was started in the 1800's it had a noble purpose. It was a week of actual classes teaching Bible. Now it has devolved into games, prizes, puppet shows and a lot of goofing aound. What few words are spoken of from Gods word are mostly ignored by the kids until the next game or until snack time. They learn nothing from the experience except that church is just like the world ...
There is also so much truth lost in translation and people simply accept what the current translation states rather than study up on it ... not to mention all the missing books everyone so conveniently forgets about.
There is so much talk against worldliness and paganism and the traditions of men, but a whole lot more action embracing those things. There is so much generalized preaching on being Holy and righteous, but almost no rebuke or reproach for specific Bible Scripture on how to be separate anymore ...
You have seen the warnings on these matters. Yet you still remain he same ...
