There are those who are somehow unbelievers that Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. They can actually claim that Jesus is not God. They use scripture of Jesus talking to the Father as evidence that He is not. They obviously ignore the areas of the Bible where Jesus was specified as God made flesh, or the Word made flesh - John 1:14 ... Jesus had to live as a man as well to take on the human emotion and temptation of mankind in order to understand and be crucified for us. He had to know the feeling of being a man without the Spirit in Him (correct me if I am wrong) or else how could He have ever truly been tempted or suffered for us? ... What I have to ask is this ... do you ever send yourself an email? do you ever catch yourself talking to yourself? Do you ever leave yourself notes or messages? I believe these communications between Jesus the man and God the Spirit were just the same idea (in our own limited thinking thats the best I can come up with)

Jesus simply prayed as a way of example for his people. As is evident when he gave the example Our Father who art in heaven .....
