There is nothing positive about homeless shelters. People should read other messages and commentary I've written about them. They are government training facilities for concentration camps. Some of the larger ones cram 100's of people into one shower room all at once ... sound familiar? They regulate your whole life. They don't try to help you, they control you ...
People, Christians don't understand this. Most don't know how to be like the Good Samaritan or like Jesus anymore ...

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels." Hebrews 13:2
During my high school years I did yard work for Mrs. Buzard, a wonderful woman who lived a life of much caring amd kindness. Often after I had worked all afternoon in the hot sun, she would bring me a tall glass of lemonade. She also showered me with small gifts and homemade treats. Her grace filled hospitality shaped my life. The Bible is replete with examples of, and requests for, hospitality.
We are commanded to show hospitality to the stranger in our land (Genesis 18:1-7), as well as to open our homes to those in need. (Romans 12:13, Isaiah 58:6-10, Hebrews 13:2.) By doing so we may discover that God has drawn especially near to us.
Instead today we selfishly pawn people off to the welfare system which is designed to enslave us in the very near future ...
Actually, hospitality is at the center of the Gospel. The Bible tells us that God has come to us in Christ, received us as children, and given us all that we need. True faith in God moves us to show the same hospitality to others.
Each day we can be thankful for the hospitable acts of others. And as a response to God's love coming to us thru them, we ourselves can look for ways to show "hospitality and welcome" to everyone we encounter.

1 Corinthians 11:20-22
"Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you."
What have I said about coming to church to eat while rejecting the (truly) hungry?

Anyone who has read 2 Samuel knows that Saul's son Jonathan had a son named Mephibosheth. The greek word for Mephibosheth means "shame breaker." Mephibosheth was a cripple living in a place called Lodebar. Lodebar means a place of great suffering. Mephibosheth had been accidentally dropped by his nurse as a baby and it crippled him for life. Back then cripples were shunned, and despised. There were no crutches, wheelchairs, government enslaving Ebt cards or disability checks. You had to live in desolate places like Lodebar where there was not even water. But King David took Mephibosheth into the palace and he ate at the king,s table for the rest of his life which took the shame away! David here is a type of Christ!
This is yet another example of a "Good Samaritan" as most professing Christians continue to ignore while pawning the poor off on the modern Lodebars (homeless shelters and alleys) of today. Today many mentally ill are "shunned" and left to the streets, treated like lepers. And most homeless shelters are filled with either career homeless or those who are trapped and abandoned by the system, even by the church ...
When churches pawn fellow Christians and people in genuine need off on the homeless shelters and when they volunteer at the shelters and serve meals, hand out blankets, provide "entertainment" and perhaps preaching ... all they do is assist the government. It does very little, if anything to help the lives of the people with real needs. Its against God ...

1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
Now I have no love for money and I despise the constant, never ending need for it, but it is the blind greed and self want which keeps Christians from helping others. It is the materialistic costs of both a very comfortable living and unnecessary church expenses which become the excuses for statements such as "we are simply not funded to help people" ...
What they should say is "Well you keep coming to church and watch us spend all our money to keep you entertained." "And we'll keep praying for ya" ...
The prayers of people who live by such thinking will many times fall of deaf ears because God wants them to help a person, but they ignore the call. And so if they are praying for a homeless person who is never brought out of his situation, it is that Christian who could be held accountable for whatever happens to the individual.
We have forgotten the Good Samaritan and how Jesus always stopped, even on the (true) Sabbath to help someone in need.
I don't often get a chance to help people, but when I see an opportunity I do try. I have known people with big bank accounts and deep pockets who complain about the cost of daily living. I will trade places with any one of you ...

I know I have other messages and short posts regarding this matter, but the biggest problem today is that Christians lack the discernment of knowing who to help and who doesn't truly need it. One example is that I watched a Christian man give this one individual a McDonald's gift card and then pray for him. Well that man has a wallet filled with hundreds of dollars from the check he gets every month and from all the "begging" he does. There is another example during my time in Oklahoma City. Aside from the many so called "homeless" individuals there who get a check every month and choose to live on the streets, be fed by the churches and be handed free pillows and blankets so they can stay "homeless." The government is happy to allow these things because it puts all these people under their control. Anyway I watched one man go into a Hooters and pull out wads of cash from his pocket. He inherited a very large sum of money some years before and still lives on the streets getting free handouts from people who feel good about themselves for doing so. There are a group of men here in this town who sit near the Wal-Mart day after day "looking" homeless and getting all sorts of free handouts from people driving by. These men live somewhere for free and have more money and material possessions than many working people do because they have no financial responsibility.
If I could have collected that kind of money from passersby I would have gotten myself out my situation, not continued stealing from people. That's all it is, is stealing because it is obtain dishonestly.
I have stated it many times over that the majority of homeless shelters (especially city shelters) are government funded training facilities for FEMA camps. And the church of today helps them right along. I have witnessed countless times a wealthy church turn genuine individuals in need away while they continue to donate 1000's of dollars into a corrupt system that does nothing to assist people, only to enslave them. Many shelters have programs that prevent you from even seeking work and living independently. They are given I.D. cards that classify them as homeless which allows them access to many facilities and "assistance" programs around the city or country. Many of them cram 100"s of people every morning into shower rooms (do these things remind you of anything?) And 90% of the people who stay in these places are NOT in need. There are criminals who hide in these shelters. Police will come night after night in search of them. You have no idea who you are sleeping next to.
I have met so many individuals who truly need help that will not stay at them because they refuse to be a part of such a Lodebar community.
"Too high class for me" Is a statement I have heard more than once from genuinely poor people who come into an Apostolic church. That is NOT how a true House of God would ever be described!
