Romans 8:29 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.."
God does not alter things: He does change your heart. If you love God, then all things, tho unaltered, will workout for your good. Sometimes we all complain about everything that comes our way. Many times when we receive something that we've prayed for, we react as though it came from the devil because its not some how "convenient" to our own way of thinking. Yet if a genuine love is there, all these will mean nothing. Loving God can make an unsatisfactory environment a profitable one.
1 Corinthians 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
Truly loving God causes us to care for His desire far more than our own and to be willing to coordinate ourselves with Him. Gods spirit working needs our coordination. Coordinating with God confirms to Him your desire to be called for His purpose. We must first stop assuming that what we want is what God wants ...
To realize and participate in the deep and hidden rewards God has ordained and prepared for us require that we not only believe in Him but also that we love Him. Both of which are "actions" ...
To fear God, to worship, to believe in God are all inadequate without the act of loving God by living for Him and according to His law ...
To love God also means to set our entire being, spirit, soul, and body, with the heart, mind and strength absolutely on Him
Mark 12:30 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment."
Life makes us so busy and tired that we lose touch with God in our daily routines ...
To let our entire being be occupied by Him in all we do. To be lost in Him so that He becomes everything to us and we are one with Him. Especially in our daily lives, more than just some once a week service of emotional highs and socializing. We need that intimacy and private fellowship with Him to sustain a proper and righteous relationship with Him, and to sustain ourselves. It is then that we are able to enter into His heart and apprehend all His knowledge. We must do more than simply realize, we must also experience the fullness of joy in Him ...
Love is shown by what you do, this applies to everyone ... including God ... think about that!
