Last week I posted the question "How do you observe the Sabbath?" and shared what I do to keep it Holy, being that I give up Netflix and video games. I spend time in the word and with God, with my wife, we go outside and we relax ...
Saturday has been the shopping day for who knows how long now, but it is a rebellious act against Gods Sabbath Law. During this period of time their ought not be any harvesting, shopping, trading (rummage sales, eating out) and so on. "Exodus 16:29", "Amos 8:5." We ought not be barbecuing either "Exodus 35:3" ...

There are many activities that qualify as breaking the Sabbath, including our lack of giving of our own supply.
Granted there are circumstances in which people little choice, but there is an entire 24 hour sunset to sunset time frame that can be observed ...
Now of Old testament Law, sacrifice and being put to death are the only laws that have changed with the purpose of Christ on the cross, but what I am tired of hearing is that these laws were given to the Jews ... well that would then imply that we ought not keep any of Gods Commandments and that the entire New Testament is falsely written and that anyone who is not Jewish doesn't matter to God anyway ...
I have written before of tithing and giving to the church. Well we can still donate food and clothing or anything of necessity to a church stock for the purpose of giving to someone in need .. (church member or someone local) not someone all the way across the world ... It does not always have to be money, that has brought more corruption and more problems to our way of life than it is has done any good ...
